Heat pumps
Ducted and ductless systems, supplied and installed. The heat load gets calculated first, then the equipment is chosen to match it, including what happens on the coldest week of the year and whether the existing ductwork can actually carry the air.
Air conditioning
Installation and service, sized to your house rather than to a rule of thumb about square footage. An oversized unit cools the air fast, shuts off, and leaves the humidity behind, which is why some homes feel clammy at 22 °C.
Furnaces
Replacement, service and repair, carried out by a licensed Class B gas fitter. Gas connections, venting and combustion air are done to code and left in a state you could hand to any inspector.
Boilers
Service, repair and replacement for hydronic heating. Radiant floors and radiators are a plumbing job as much as a heating one, which is why it helps that the same hands hold a Red Seal plumber ticket and a Class B gas fitter ticket.
Ductless mini-splits
For additions, basement suites, garages, converted attics and the one bedroom the existing system never reached. One outdoor unit, one or several indoor heads, no ductwork to tear open.
Maintenance and service
Nordic Breeze services what it installs and what somebody else installed. Filters, coils, refrigerant charge, gas pressures, condensate: the things that quietly decide how long a system lasts.
